Your Y's Commitment to Quality Childcare.

The YMCA of Kingston has been providing quality child care to families in Kingston for over 37 years. Children have the right to a secure, safe, and age-appropriate program that fosters social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth. Our programs provide the opportunity for each child to grow and develop in an enjoyable, welcoming, positive environment.

Childcare Testimonial
We are constantly amazed with how productive her (Zoey's) time is with Leigh and the team.  She is engaged every day whether it is in art, science, literacy, numeracy, cooperative play or physical activity.  I have watched every single staff member choose to be on the floor with the kids, engaging in student-led play.  I have also watched them lead enriching learning activities  The students are learning under their subtle direction but, if you ask the kids if they did any learning at YMCA that day, they will tell you that they got to play or to create something and then say, ‘by the way, did you know…’ and share with you the knowledge they gained.

Our child loves school but she is so excited when it is a “YMCA all-day” day on PA Days.  She is bounding out the door on these days anticipating a full filled day with her friends.
