Commitment to Child Care

The Kingston Family YMCA has been providing quality child care to families in Kingston for over 37 years. Children have the right to a secure, safe, and age-appropriate program that fosters social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth. Our programs provide the opportunity for each child to grow and develop in an enjoyable, welcoming, positive environment. We provide an atmosphere that encourages independence, self-esteem, responsibility, and respect for self and others.

Child Care Services Staff

Our program sites are staffed by professionally-trained, carefully-chosen personnel who possess an Early Childhood Education Diploma or equivalent. All staff members participate in HIGH FIVE training, hold current CPR and First Aid certificates, and have cleared a thorough criminal police check. Our child care staff are imaginative, creative, and enthusiastic, and offer programs which foster healthy child development.
